Replacing 99 vmax with 08 vmax, wiring??

I am swapping out a '99 Vmax 175hp for a brand new '08 Vmax 150hp. I am keeping and using the original controls. I was hoping it was going to be a plug and play operation on the wiring...however it looks like the wiring harness is different. There is an additional four pin female connector on the control end. Can anyone tell me if there is an adapter? If not, some instructions on rewiring would be helpful.

Also, any suggestions on initial start-up and break-in?
