I bought a 24'pontoon boat with a yamaha 115-v4. The 135/8"x13 aluminium prop on now allows revs at full throttle of 6200rpm and top speed of 19mph. What prop should I use on this boat to lower rpm and increase speed?
A 15 Pitch would would turn about 5800 RPM'S and carry a large number of people on board without any problem. A 17 pitch would turn about 5200 RPM'S but you would have to keep a light load on board
