I just bought a boat with a 1997 200hp yamaha outboard. The round tacometer was not working, so I ordered a new one from boats.net. On the back of the old tacometer, there is 2 sets of wires coming out the back, while the new round tacometer only has one place to plug in a 4 set of wires.
I see where I can plug in one part of the old tacometer into the new, but that leaves about 4 wires with no where to go, and I am still not getting power to the new tacometer.
Do I need a new set of plug in wires for the tacometer? If so, can anyone find a part number?
