Installed new die hard battery fully charged. turned the key to start the engine and the starter would spin but would not pop up and engage the fly wheel.
After checking connections, I repeated turing the key to start numereous times, still won't engage. I checked my connections again, they looked ok, the battery reads 12.85 volts.
Here's the clincher, when I turn the key to start the engine now, I get nothing! The engine is dead! No power when the key is on, or turned to start.
