wiring question...

I have a 1988 130ETLG and all the original wiring harnesses..everything matches up color to color with the exception of the pigtail coming off the positive lead coming from the battery..this wire is red and its running to a pink from a wire bundle. Out of this bundle they have a different pink connected to a red wire that is fused..these are the only wires mismatched in color..any ideas on why and what size fuse should be used?

The wire with inline fuse is the positive wire and connects on positive post of relay.
