Engine won't start.

What's going fellas. I have a 2002 yamah 150 Carb with 272 hrs. Engine was running fine all last week. Today I charged the batteries and click click. Engine won't start. I can hear what sounds ( humming sound ) like the starter but it does not crank the engine. It's like if the starter does not go up and spins the engine. I checked and cleaned all the battery connections. I am thinking about taking out the starter and hook it up to a separate battery to see if it cranks. The batteries are one year old. Not much of a mechanic here, but any advice will help tremendous. Thanks a lot.

Have battery load tested and also load test at battery cables on engine, may be too low of voltage.
