Help identifying part - '89 130 ETLF

Yamaha 130 ETLF 1989

Would appreciate if anyone knows what this part in the picture is, I circled in red, it has a crack in the plastic at the bottom. I superglued and put a wire tie around it but want to order another. It's a rod and has got rubber holes at top and bottom and comes off easily, not bolted on. It's some sort of connector.
