I have a 1996 250 saltwater series yamaha, can the aux charging isolator lead be used w/this motor to charge a house battery separately from the starting battery? If so is this the correct part number MAR-69JIS-0L-ED?
There is a extra red wire at regulator, you will have make a wire and install a 30 amp inline fuse in it, run the wire from regulator to positive post on battery.
