I've got a 2005 150 4 stroke that has always been well cared for. Every now and then, the motor will cut off while at higher rpms and I'll have to pump the fuel bulb to resume. Then, motor runs great for, say, a few days, weeks, then it may do it again. Seems to occur when it's hot or water is very rough. Yesterday, ran it for 30 mins and then it sat for a couple of hours. When I ran it again, it cut off in the first couple of minutes. Pumped bulb, it ran fine, but then then died again a couple mins later. Pumped bulb again, and it ran great thereafter. I did replace the fuel bulb a few weeks ago hoping that was the problem, but obviously not. Any suggestions?
