Warning buzzer/ lights saying that it has a low oil level. Definetely not the case. When idleing, the motor loaded up with oil, smoking, missing. Had to accelerate to clear the engine. Would you say it is the oil level sensor? Another interesting happening, when a large wave was hit hard, the warning went off, sending me back into a idle. Have a manual, and I was just reading how to test the sensor. Other than sensor, any ideas? A mechanic looked at it and tank ran the motor for a half hour, no problems. How could he not have experienced the loading up with oil?

Yes the oil sensor needs to be tested to see if working properly.

engine oil tank overflow
Is it true that when the engine mounted oil tank overflows it drains into the carb?

The oil tank vent hose is connected to air silencer on front of carbs and it can push oil through vent hose.
