  • Water Pump replacement for F150

Gents, first time poster, long time fisherman....I'm getting ready to change out the water pump for my 2005 F150TXR. Is there any resources available to me like CDs, manuals or just good ol word of mouth instructions on how to do it?

It's to easy. Go buy or order a shop manual. It has step by steps instructions
for this job. And much much more.
But one thing, A Yamaha book is about 85 to 90 bucks.
But it's a good investment in your boat.
    Tight lines and Flat sea's.

      F250 water pump

is there a mechanical seal type assembly including a collar and spacer ring installed after the impeller?

This has been avised to me from seemingly good source, but is not on the yamaha parts list and schematic drawing.

The impeller was changed because of overheating engine.

No The F250 doesn't have those parts on it.
