I have a 2007 HPDI225 Yamaha. It cranks and runs great, but after it runs and I stop to fish for awhile (sometimes 2-3 hours), it won't crank. I have to wait about 20 minutes before it will crank back. What's the problem?

Wont Crank?
If the starter wont wont crank engine over, check battery cable connections, ignition switch and neutral safety switch.
If cranks over but wont start and run, check battery voltage when tring to start it, if voltage is dropping below 10 volts engine wont run. Try pumping fuel primer bulb to see helps start back up.

have not tried spark test i emailed ranger and asked if it could be a touch pad problem they said not likely sounds like could be ecu unit. yesterday i went to lake it did some funny deal on take off when it gets on plane and starts opening up it shuts down for a split second and cuts out then runs ok and it will do this on every take off now
