9.9 unstable idle

Just installed a new carburetor . 9.9 4 stroke Idle is not rough but engine speed is unstable..rpm hunts up and down and wont settle at steady idle..
Any ideas how to proceed

Check timing, make sure carb is adjusted properly.

idle is only adjustment on this carb.. You suggesting punching out the plug and going after the mixture screw ??
