S150TXRX oil sender issue

I'm having trouble diagnosing an oil issue. This is the issue and steps taken so far. No oil filling the on-engine tank when float is down on sender (while engine is running or not), buzzer goes off, gauge reads empty, but no oil flow. It does however flow when manual toggle is used. I installed new sender, I swapped CDI units w/ other engine. Trim sender is OK and indicates engine in down position on gauge (one bar).
What am I missing? Any help is appreciated.

Check oil level sensor on oil tank in boat and wiring going to boat oil tank.

Thanks for the reply. How should I check the sensor in boat tank?
I'll test if it's a wire issue w/ a new oil tank harness.

Remove sensor from tank and connect an ohm meter to two sensor wires, move float up and down, should have continuity when float is in up position and no continuity in down position.
