hi guys
i think i have a bad temp. gauge or sending unit.
when i cut the key on the needle does move some off its resting point, however, when the motor is warmed up it does not move up to the first/second hash line on the gauge.
i do have a pressure gauge and do get about 15-20 psi on plane, there have been no warning buzzers going off.
here is what i did: turned key on, needle on gauge moved a little, disconnectd the blue wire coming off the sending unit (which is mounted on the top of the starboard side head) and grounded it, the gauge did not move, i guess that means the gauge is defective?
is this the correct procedure? just curious why the gauge would move a little
