Replacing Piston

Can i replace piston and ring no 1 just by from the cylinder head?If yes can anybody give me some tip step by step.My engine is yamaha 85hp and the no 1 cylinder is lack of compression.Diassembling the powerhead required a lot of work ,i think.tq

ok.what is the standard turn for the needle that attached with the spring at the carburetor.some told me,screw full in than turn back out 1 1/4 turn.is it correct?

yamaha 85hp 2 stroke AE 688,year 1992 or 1993.thats all i know
