OX66 225 low speed overheat

2004 , 225 HP overheating

About three weeks ago suddenly my overheat alarm went off. Had water pump impeller replaced and both thermostats. Still overheats at 600/700 RPM idel, at 1100 rpm no alarm.

Anybody with ideas - p-tube pumping fine.

What is the condition of the pressure relief valve?

Yep, classic case of stuck PRV. Need the new design and be careful installing the grommet. Clean everything with a battery terminal brush and be careful the grommet doesn't fall inside.
