Clean and Sync the carbs on F80TLRZ

Ok,
I've called my 2 local authorized Yamaha dealers and asked them about cleaning and syncing my carbs on my F80TLRZ and the phone is silence. Then they are start fumbling around and tell me that I need to have new carb kits put on all the carbs at $130 each, I was under the understanding that after talking with a Yamaha rep and a few people on here that all they may have to replace is the pin valve and gasket which is a lot cheaper then buying a whole new kit for all the carbs. Does that make sense?

You can just replace the parts needed to clean them instead of buying kit, but wont know what parts you will until get them clean.
