Dont know were to start

I bought a bass boat fron an online auction out of state I got a great deal on the boat came with a 91 yamaha 200 precision blend. I noticed there is a hole in the motor about the the size of a nickle its located between the intake and the cylinders maybe the reed block not sure and also pulled all the plugs and noticed one of the plugs on the opo side was smashed Im guesing a rod let loose were do I start what are my options on a tigh budget any input will help thanks in advance.

It sounds like it needs a new powerhead, if it block and crank damage then would too costly to rebuild engine.
