Yamaha 300 HPDI fuel pump

How do you tell the difference between a 300 HPDI & 200 HPDI fuel pump in the VST. I need a new one and a shop has one that works great but he cant rember if it came off a 300 or a 200 and according to yamaha they have two different part numbers.

I have never compared the two but probably wouldn't be able to tell just looking at it.

I would think that they would put a part number on the pump so the dealers could tell them apart. One dealer said that if it was not in the package that he would not know, Now this may be his way of trying to make a sale.
