I posted a fuel delivery problem on my 250hp Yamaha HPDI Z250Turc outboard.
The problem seems to have been the mechanic that serviced my engine replaced the clear plastic fuel filter canister with one that didnt seat properly, and was missing the spring that presses the filter into the nozzle that goes to the fuel pump.
I redid this, and it seems that the fuel fills say 2/3 of the canister, leaving air in the top 1/3 of canister. Is this normal?
TIA for your help.
