This past weekend i went fishing, upon launching and small moving around (still at the launch) I heard my tilt motor going off and on and slight adjustments to the tilting of the motor. I wasn't touching ether switch, and I don't believe in ghost, lol. Other than that the rest of the day went smooth, no other problems with the tilt. I looked at it yesterday, on the trailer at my house, and this is what i saw. It seems the tilt switch on the actual motor itself is super sensative, I hear a clicking coming from under the starboard side fuse panel on the actual motor, each time it activitates. I did not think to see how sensative the the tilt switch is at the throttle handle, which i will do tonight. My motor is super clean (209 hours) and well taken care of, i looked to see if any scum, or a build up of corrosion was present, nether was seen. All conections look tight. From this can you guys/gals come to any conclusions? The clicking to me is normal, i remeber hearing it when i lower or lift my motor, just now with switch being hyper sensative it is clicking more. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Probably need to replace switch on engine, may have water in it. Best to unhook that switch before it shorts out and trims motor on it's own.

I looked at it again, and it seems to be the switches on the motor, under the fuse cover and only the one raising motor. The switch on the remote handle seems fine, the switch on the motor housing does too. Or i should say it does the same thing at both locations, super sensative on the up side, sometimes it lifts even when no finger is pushing the button.

Thanks i will figure out the parts number and look into pricing it through here if they let me buy, i am new to this site.
