please help: 1992 yamaha 115 v4 bogs down after 1300 rpms. fresh carb rebuild new fuel pump, filter and prime ball changed plugs twice just incase they were bad had timing checked and carbs checked again. Now you know what i've had done to it. In the past i have had this problem and it turned out to be low oil in the reserve refilled it and it was fine. last night i checked some ohom readings on the oil tank and the emergency oil switch box on the motor found that tank level sensor was working fine until the ignition was on .when the ignition is in the on position the wire that runs to the cdi box has no resistance. I asume that this is not correct, isant this the wire that tells the cdi that the oil is full. hope i haven't confused any one just need some help without a second mortage. thanks in advance

It's definantly not low oil, warning ligths are green and it's not equiped with a buzzer. The problem seems to be the cdi thinks it is low on oil because with ignition on the lead that runs from the oil tank to the cdi becomes a ground, but i don't know why. If I am thinking clearly. Please need more help,
thanks in advance.

The CDI will ground the brown wire to activate oil transfer pump.
