1997 yamaha 175

i have a 175hp s175txrv with #4 coil not firing. i have switched coil leads and can get #4 to fire. i have ohm checked pulser and charge coils and they are within spec. can anyone please give me something else to check before send over $1000.00 on a c d i box.

Need to have voltage output(with a peak reading voltmeter) test run charge coil, pulsor coil and CDI output to find problem.
