Does anyone have a recommendation for cleaning out a carb. I have tried using Gunk carb cleaner 3 times now and am afraid to keep using it as there are some plastic parts very hard to remove. Instructions show to soak it for 20 mins. and then blow it off with air compressor.
The engine I have will only run with the choke pulled out. As soon as I push the choke in, it will stall. If I keep the RPM's up very high while pushing the choke in it will stay running. I have changed fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel filter, and checked the fuel pump. I have soaked the carb 3 different times in cleaner and nothing seems to work. All indications point to the carb not getting enough fuel, but what else can I do? The engine has been very well taken care of and looks like new. Any recommendations? thanks for any info!

Remove the jets from carb and soak them, and may need to clean them with small wire.
