90hp 2004 four stroke
The rectifier regulator seems to have shorted out, combusted and and then set the ECM on fire along with the intake.
The first question is why?
The second is, has anyone else had or heard of a similar experience?
The third is that I have a 2004 manual for a 225hp, can I use the values provided for the 225hp electrical system to test the 90 hp electrical system?
And the fourth, if you are still with me, is should I look for any thing in particular?
The parts are on the way but if the problem is further up the line than the rectifier, I sure don't want to burn up another $700 bucks.
Thanks
