starting question

Purchased a new to me boat with twin 2001 sx and lx 250 salt water series (ox66) motors. the owner"s manual has no mention of pushing in on the key while starting, however my key switches do allow me to push in...Do I need to push in (choke) on a cold start ? or is this key function not used ,but there for a different model ?? In advance thank you

No the fuel injected engines don't use a choke but the key switches do have the push to choke feature but it is not connected to anything on the engine.
