How did you test it? I have two on my boat and need to test them.

Inspect the paddle wheel inside it.

Is there a secret to UN doing the triangle shaped connector on the sender? It looks as if you pull up on a tab and pull it apart. Mine is just not budging.

Any hints? Close up photos if there is a two part tab?

use a small pick, remove the center locking tab.
then use a small pick and push back the pin locking tab while pulling on the wire.

When you say remove the center tab, does it come off the harness or just bend out?

Thanks, I'll look for those two tabs.

Thanks, bringing a small pick to the boat was the key, a screw driver could not get far enough in. Thanks again.
