Help....tilt lock lever frozen

It's rusted and almost froze. I can set the lock by tapping with a hammer. I need to remove the whole mechanism and replace. Please help with the procedures and how I should go about it. Thanks.

Don't know what model you but just have to replace both locks, bushings, joints and roll pins and springs.

thankyou for the reply. How do I remove the mechanism? Do I tap it out with a punch? From the port side? Starboard? It's so rusted, I don't even recognize the parts. Springs are long gone....

The two shafts join in middle, will have to separate at joint where shafts meet.
