Trim/Tilt switch problem in 200hp hpdi

I have a 2001 200hp HPDI vmax engine on my boat. There are three trim/tilt locations,,, Bow, Throttle Control and engine.

The switches on the bow and on the engine work great, but the switch on the Control Handle doesn't work most of the time. Occassionally the switch seems to make contact and the engine will raise or lower okay, but not very often.

Could there be corrosion causing a short in the switch? How can I trace the wires back to the trim/tilt motor? Is there a schematic on line I can follow?

Probably a bad switch or bad wiring, remove switch check wiring and replace switch.
