have not cleaned tank but plan to drain all gas out tomorrow replace fuel line. Pulled out fuel tank pickup hose and found fitting not very tight and minimal teflon on the fitting

Is there a anti siphon valve in the line or tank?
Is the tank vent line collapsed?
          Maybe pinched fuel line.

If you're running 15-minutes, my money's on the tank anti siphon valve. Could be boat mounted fuel filter, but I don't think it would run fine for 15-minutes.
