installing 15hp shifter linkage

Hello,

My Yamaha manual does not show how I can install the linkage between the top end and lower unit of my engine. It´s the linkage that runs through the transom tube/bracket and connects to the lower unit.

I have no tech. drawings.. can someone help. Does the link feed through the top or from the bottom end of the engine ???

Remove the engine and shift shaft can be removed from the top.
