Yamaha 2008 2.5hp 4 stroke

I forgot to drain my fuel tank last season and paying the price now. Have purchased a carb kit, cleaned the carb and getting ready for re-assembly. Can anyone tell me which way gasket 69M-E3647-00-00 goes. It is plastic, about .25 thick and has a oval hole on one side. Does that oval go up or down when mounting to the engine?

It should go either way, check to see if any holes in manifold that aligns with hole in gasket.
