1988 175hp v6 harness compatibilaty with a1990 225hp v6

I just got a 1988 175hp v6 yamaha , I need the harnees from the controls to the motor , and the tach and low oil and trim gauges. I found some one who has a everything i need but they are from a 1990 225 v6.
Will they work for me
