Newb to 4 stroke Yamaha outboard F115???

I'm looking to find out what the reddish looking oil substance is in my resevoir, it's mounted on the transom of my Tiderunner. It as a blue cover and the bottom pulls off.
I know the main oil tank but what is this one for?

Could be a trim tab fluid reservoir.
Mounted on the inside of the transom yes??

Power steering fluid is normally reddish in color and trim tabs use PS fluid.

If you don't have trim tabs.....beats me really!!!
