  • Fuel Leak at Fuel Joint

My motor is a 1987 200hp. Fuel is leaking at the connection from the fuel line fuel joint (female) connector to the motor (male) connector. The connection is not tight. Looking at the motor parts website I can find a replacement fuel joint and an o-ring. I don't see an o-ring on my connection. Is this a separate part or is supposed to be mounted to one of the connectors? In other words what part or parts do I need to fix the leak.

    Thanks for your help!

If you are talking about the quick disconnect where fuel line connects to connector on engine then you can't buy oring separator. Best to remove quick disconnect from engine and connect fuel directly to fuel filter on engine, Yamaha quit using those connectors on V4 and V6 back in mid 1990's.
